This section is a part of the Configuration menu. Access to this section may be restricted by Home Portal administrators.

Note

The changes in the configuration menu settings will affect all XTRF users and, therefore, should be well considered.

Some settings depend on the selected XTRF plan and thus might be unavailable for some clients. Additional charges may apply. Please contact our Help Desk or your Regional Growth Manager for more information. 

In the Integration section, you can manage connectivity features and integrations of the XTRF Platform with external systems.

CAT tools

In this section, you can manage your CAT tool integrations. The list of displayed CAT tools depends on which integrations you have already configured for your XTRF Platform.

  • Edit the default view or create a new one. To learn how to do that, see the Classic views article.

  • Use the filters on the left to narrow down your search.

  • Click on the selected CAT tool to open its configuration. Click the (blue star) icon to open it in edit mode.

  • To learn how to add and configure a CAT tool, see the related articles in the CAT tools section of the XTRF Knowledge Base.

  • To delete a CAT tool configuration, click the (blue star) icon.


Periodic Jobs

In this section, you can add and manage the periodic jobs for your XTRF Platform.

  • Use the filters on the left to narrow down your search.

  • Click on the selected periodic job to open its configuration. Click the (blue star) icon to open it in edit mode.
    Note: Mandatory system jobs are neither editable nor deletable.

  • Click the (blue star) icon to execute a periodic job once.

  • Click the (blue star) icon to execute a periodic job repeatedly, according to the settings provided in the periodic job configuration.

  • Click the (blue star) icon to stop the periodic job.

  • Check one or several boxes in the left column and click the (blue star) icon in the header to open a drop-down menu of applicable actions:

    • Select or deselect all periodic jobs

    • Run the selected jobs once

    • Run the selected jobs repeatedly

    • Stop the selected jobs

    • Duplicate a selected job

    • Delete the selected jobs

Add a periodic job

You can add only optional periodic jobs.

  1. Click the Add button on top of the Periodic Jobs table. You will be directed to the Add page.

  2. Select the periodic job’s Type:

    • Client Invoicing - filters and selects the tasks that will be automatically added to new Client Invoices within the configured time frame. To learn more about this periodic job, see the Automatic Client Invoicing article.

    • Filter Subscription - pulls data from a browsing view with any filter combination applied to it and sends the filtered data to the list of email subscribers.

    • Macro Subscription - runs a macro and sends the results to a specified Home Portal user.

    • Overdue Invoices Reminder - sends notifications to a specified Home Portal user and, optionally, to the invoice signatory and the PM responsible for the jobs related to the overdue invoices.

    • Report Subscription - pulls data from reports and sends it to the list of email subscribers.

    • Time Control Synchronization Job - aggregates the work logs of selected groups for the selected time period and sends the summary to the recipients.

    • Vendor Invoicing
      Note: The Text Message Delivery Check and WeLocalize Synchronization periodic jobs are deprecated.

  3. Provide a name for the new periodic job.

  4. Click the Save button. You will be directed to the Periodic Job page (see the next section).


Edit a periodic job

  1. Open the periodic job in edit mode.

  2. In the Job Configuration section, select or provide the desired settings.
    Note: This section’s content depends on the periodic job type.

  3. In the Execution Configuration section, decide when and how often the job has to be executed:

    1. With the radio button, select one of the options:

      • Daily

      • Days per Week

      • Days per Month

      • Advanced

    2. (For Daily and Days per Week options) From the Type drop-down list, select whether the job will be executed Once per day or Periodically.

    3. Use the fields below to specify the desired schedule.

    4. (For Advanced) Provide the appropriate Cron Expression.

  4. In the Periodic Job Statistics section, you can check:

    1. The Number of Executions

    2. Last Execution Time

    3. Available logs for this job.

  5. Click the Save button to confirm the changes.

  • Check the information about the number of available and already used Smart Connectors.

  • To open a Smart Connector, click on its line in the list. To open it in edit mode, click the (blue star) icon.

  • To add a Smart Connector, click the Add Smart Connector button on top of the list of Smart Connectors.

  • If you select a checkbox in the left column, additional buttons appear on top of the list of Smart Connectors:

  • Click the Duplicate button to create another Smart Connector with similar settings.

  • Click the Delete button to delete the selected Smart Connector.

XTRF Macros

In this section, you can add and manage macros for your XTRF Platform.

  • Decide whether you allow using macros on the XTRF Platform with the Enable XTRF Macros checkbox.

  • Edit the default view or create a new one. To learn how to do that, see the Classic views article.

  • Use the filters on the left to narrow down your search.

  • To add a macro, click the Add button on top of the XTRF Macros list.

  • Click on the selected macro to open its configuration. Click the (blue star) icon to open it in edit mode.

  • Check one or several boxes in the left column and click the (blue star) icon in the header to open a drop-down menu of applicable actions:

    • Select or deselect all macros

    • Activate or deactivate the selected macros

    • Delete the selected macros.
