Portal Settings (Client Portal)


In the portal settings, you can change and update your Portal account configuration.

Click the Settings button to access the Settings menu. You can find there the following options:

  • My account - the settings and preferences of your personal client Portal account.

  • Resource Files - the list of all reference files such as translation memory or term base files.

  • Customer Portal Tour - a short walk around the Customer Portal. A quick tutorial to familiarize you with the basics of the Portal.

  • Logout - click the Logout button to sign out and leave the Portal.

Settings tab

In the settings tab, you can change the basic settings of your account.

  • Interface Language - The language in which the Portal is displayed. You can choose from a number of different languages. Click on the field and select the preferred language from the list.

  • Time Zone - Select the time zone you are working in.

  • Change Password - If you want, you can change your current Portal password. Click the Change password button. New fields appear. In the Old Password field, type in your current password. In the next field, type in the new password. For safety reasons, your new password has to meet a number of conditions. The conditions for the password will be displayed on the right-hand side as soon as you start typing in the field. To confirm your new password, type it again in the New Password Again field. Please note that both phrases must match.

  • When all is done, click the Save new password button to change your password or click the Cancel button to abort the process.

 


Company tab

The second tab provides all the data about your company.

You may update your contact information

  • Contact Info - There is your essential contact information, for example, your email address and phone number. To add or update any of the contact information, click the Edit button. Type in new pieces of information and click the Save changes button to confirm changes, or click the Cancel button to abort the process.

  • Billing & Mailing Address  - update your correspondence address and the address where your bills will be sent. It can be the same address, or you can have them separate.

  • Social Media - update your social media information. You may add whatever media you use.


Contact Persons tab

This tab shows the list of the contact persons linked to this Client Portal account. Click on the contact person to see more information details.

  • Click the Edit button to edit the contact person's data.

  • To delete a contact person click the Delete button.

  • You can also click the Edit Social Media button to update the person's profile in this area.

  • To add a new contact person to your company account, click the Add contact person button.
    In the form that appears, fill in all personal information regarding the new account. To add a new contact person, you need to provide at least the Name and the E-mail address; those fields are mandatory.

    When the personal details are provided, click the Save changes to add another contact person to your company Customer Portal. Click the Cancel button to abort the process.

 


Resource Files tab

This tab shows the list of all your resource files. They might be the translation memory or term base files from your CAT tools. Files for integrated external systems or other system files used in your workflows.


Customer Portal Tour

The Portal tour is a quick tutorial taking you through the basics of the Portal's architecture and functionalities.

The pop-up window about the Tour shows each time you log in to the Portal until you unselect the Show tour on startup tickbox.

Click the Start the Portal Tour button to begin the tutorial.

Later on, if you would like to go back to the tour, you can always find it in the Settings menu.
